ABI Peak

Mt. Abi lies in the Mahalangur range of the Everest Region. The peak stands at a height of 6, 097meters. The mountain is also known as Cholo and also by Kangchung from the pass that reaches it - the Kangchung La. Moutaineers planning to climb the 8,000ers consider Mt. Abi as a perfect training mountain for ice climbing and high altitude acclimatization. However, this 6, 000 itself requires careful ascent due to the technical ridges toward its peak.
