Canyoning
 

Canyoning in most exciting activity in Nepal. It is an adventurous trip at the magnificent canyon with the most beautiful surroundings. Canyoning gives you the freedom to explore some of the most ruggedly beautiful, yet forbidden places in the world. Canyoning is comprehensive package for experiencing adventure that requires technical skills of stream navigation, rope and canyoning gears work. Canyoning consists of a group descending a canyon by abseiling down waterfalls, jumping into pools and sliding down natural waterfalls. Each of these stages is overcome by wearing a wetsuit, boots, harness and a helmet all of which are provided by the companies that book this sport through. The most famous spot for Canyoning in Nepal is Bhote Koshi River and Sundarijal.  Bhote Koshi River is one hidden paradise where you go for a canyoning. It is at the Last Resort near the Tibetan Border. The Last Resort is located amidst sprawling terraced gardens. Suspended in isolation on a high cliff top gorge, above the Bhote Kosi River, the resort is surrounding by dense jungle and pristine forest.  Sundarijal is located 15 Km North-West of the Kathmandu Valley on the lap of Shivapuri National Park. An hour drive from Thamel brings you to Sundarijal Bus Park. The canyoning spot is 30 minutes uphill Sundarijal Village. The best time for Canyoning is from the end of February till the end of May during spring and the first of September to end of December during autumn.
