Mt.Langsisa Ri lies in the Jugal Himalaya Range of the Langtang region, standing at a height of 6427 meters. Many climbers consider the peak to be a tricky & technical one. The peak is close to the Langtang and Syabru villages with their unique Tibetan influenced culture and tradition, monasteries and cheese factory. The trek in the region also offers some awesome views of Mt. Langtang, Naya Kanga, and other peaks.
Suggested Itinerary: Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu, transfer to the Hotel. Day 02 : Kathmandu Sight seeing and Trek Preparation. Day 03 : Drive to Syabru Bensi Day 04 : Trek to Lama Hotel Day 05 : Trek to Langtang village. Day 06 : Trek to Kyanjin Gompa. Day 07 : Acclimatization day. Day 08 : Trek to Langsisa Kharka. Day 09 : Trek to Langsisa base camp Day 10 : Langsisa high camp Day 11 : Summit up to Langshisa RI and back to base camp Day 12 : Trek to Kyanjin Gompa. Day 13 : Trek to Lama Hotel. Day 14 : Trek to Syabru Village. Day 15 : Trek to SingGompa. Day 16 : Trek to Dhunche. Day 17 : Drive back to Kathmandu.
Royalty for Mt.Langsisa Ri Peak Climbing: Mt.Langsisa Ri falls in the Group A of the trekking peaks. For all climbing peaks in the category of Group A, the Nepal Government charges a royalty of U.S Dollars 500 for up to seven members, with additional $ 100 for each additional member up to 12 people. Garbage deposit A refundable garbage deposit has to be made for climbing any of the Group A & Group B category climbing peaks. The deposit mount of USD 250 must be deposited with the Nepal Mountaineers Association (NMA) which makes the refund according its provisions. Notes: - Each climbing team will fill up an application form provided by the NMA mentioning the partner trekking agency registered with the HMG and NMA and accompanied by a sirdar/guide registered with NMA.
- The permit is valid for the period of one month only. The maximum number of the group size will be 12 persons.
- An additional 25% charge of the total amount of the initial fee will be made for each extended week.
- The leader or climbing member of the team must collect the permit in person from Nepal Mountaineering Association.
