Paragliding

Paragliding in Nepal can be really an astonishing and satisfying experience for the adventure seeker. You will explore the earth from high altitude just like birds floating over the green jungles, beautiful villages, temples, monasteries and also have the views of the majestic Himalaya.

Many travelers and visitors apart from exploring the tranquil beauty of Nepal Himalayas love doing some adventure activities like paragliding, cannoning, bungee Jumping, Hot Air ballooning etc. Nepal has the second highest bungee in the world and the 'giantest' swing, over a canyon in the Bhote Koshi at the height of 170m. The paragliding is fabulous in Pokhara with 8000+ m peaks on the background, and newer soft & hard adventure opportunities are on the rise. You will also enjoy exploring the tranquil beauty and the remote & unique cultures.

Paragliding is known as a weather dependent sport and the flying season in Nepal begins from November through February, the best months being November and December. Sarangkot (1592m.) is the best take off point which offers prime views of Fewa Lake and mountains at sunrise and sunset (provided the skies are clear) and the landing is by the Fewa Lake.

Watching the spectacular views of Annapurna range and beautiful landscape around Pokhara valley, virgin Mt. Fishtail (Machhapuchhre), Lamjung Himal, Annapurna Himal, Himchuli, Fewa Lake, Rice field, Rivers and settlements gives you thrills with a great photographic opportunity.  To make your dream come true fly to Pokhara and make your Nepal trip remarkable. No previous experience is required as qualified pilots provide a short briefing before launching.
