Pony Trek
 

Pony trek is the major tourist attraction in Nepal. This trek offers an enthralling way to get familiarity with the mountains, natural beauty, lush and green vegetations of Nepal. For those who can’t take the strain of daily hiking and those who want respite on long trekking, there are ponies to ease that burden. Now a days Pony treks have become popular among the visitors. Pony trek are popular in Annapurna and Mustang regions. Ponies can be rented for a day or longer in Pokhara and in some mountain areas. Trekking agents can plan a full pony trek or short stints to lessen the strain of daily hiking, several outfits are located in Pokhara.  Ponies have been a means of transport for people and materials for centuries in Nepal and are today used extensively for trekking. Pony treks follow nearly the same routes as normal treks and are offered mostly in the western region around Pokhara, as well as in the hinterlands of Dolpo and Lo Manthang. The landscape ranging from the plains of the valley to the gently undulating hills around and the mountains beyond can take you through some of the most diverse terrain.
