Ultra Light Aircrafts

Many travelers and visitors apart from exploring the tranquil beauty of Nepal Himalayas love doing some adventure activities like paragliding, cannoning, bunjy Jumping, Hot Air ballooning etc. Nepal has the second highest bunjy in the world and the 'giantest' swing, over a canyon in the Bhote Koshi at the height of 170m. The paragliding is fabulous in Pokhara with 8000+ m peaks on the background, and newer soft & hard adventure opportunities are on the rise. You will also enjoy exploring the tranquil beauty and the remote & unique cultures.

Ultra light flight takes off in the Pokhara Valley. The valley has inspired even Nepali young engineers to invent Nepal’s first aircraft invention in 2008. Scared? Don’t worry; you’ll be flying on the state of the art technology aircrafts with a full trained and registered pilot to make sure your flight is safe and enjoyable.

Generally, the flight duration is 15 minutes. The aircraft flies over the Pokhara city, Phewa Lake , Sarangko t hill at the speed of 50 km/hour to 90km/hr. The maximum altitute attained is 5,000 feet.

Nowadays with proper building and registration methods, the ultra light is a unique, safe and fun way to fly. There is just enough room in the cockpit for you and your pilot, the bubble dome like window allows you spectacular views without being exposed to the weather elements. So you can sit back in comfort and enjoy your moment in the clouds.

The Ultra light flights from the Pokhara airport beginning September through June. The flights take place from sunrise to 11 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to sunset every day during these months. Three different routes are taken.
