Wildlife Adventure
 

Jungle safari is one of the most excellent and ultimate activity for a complete wildlife experience. Nepal has a rich flora & fauna and it is the finest wildlife habitat in Asia.  National parks, wild life reserves and conservation areas occupy 16 percent area in Nepal. The country has as many as 100 different kinds of mammals and at least 750 kinds of birds in total.

The national parks are the places for safari in Nepal. Whatever you choose to see, Nepal has an ideal safari destination for you and is popular in its outdoors adventure sports into the wilderness to observe wild animals, birds and experience the natural beauty. Riding on an elephant’s back, safari in four wheeler jeep accompanied by a fully trained guide, bird-watching are the major activities of a safari in Nepal.

Chitwan National Park is the most renowned park in Nepal for safari which offers excellent jungle safaris. You can ride on an elephant or take a four wheeler to discover some of the Nepal's unspoiled natural habitats in this park.

Bardia National Park is the largest and most undisturbed wilderness area in the Terai which is densely covered with sal trees and carpeted with class and savannah.

Koshi Tappu National Park is ideal for bird watching.

Most jungle safari consists of canoe rides in the Jungle Rivers as well as nature walks, birds watching excursions plus quick tours around villages to discover the unique culture and traditions of the local village people. There are scheduled cultural-musical programs as well performed by the villages and which also will be in the Jungle Safari itinerary. July-September is the monsoon season when rivers swell and parts of the park are inaccessible.
