Yala Peak

The Yala Peak lies in the Langtang region of the central Nepal standing at a height of 5732 meters. The Yala is relatively easy mountain, a good choice for the trekkers wishing for some mountaineering experience. The ascent is amply rewarded with the spectacular up-close views of the greater mountains like Langtang Lirung, .Lenpo Gang, Dorje Lakpa all 7000ers and the 8000er mighty Shishapangma on the Tibetan side.

A reason for choosing Yala is its proximity from Kathmandu. After a 7 hours drive from Kathmandu, the trek begin at Dhunche, and in three days of trekking you’ll find yourself at the Yala Base Camp. However, do not underestimate the Yala, you’ll need the ice axe, ropes, and other gears as you get closer to the peak. Make sure to make a day for acclimatization before summiting the peak.
